Discover Antelope Canyon
Antelope Canyon is formed from Navajo sandstone shaped over time by sudden floods and wind-driven erosion. The result is a network of narrow passages where rock surfaces appear to fold and flow despite being solid stone.
This magnet chooses a very different composition from the familiar light-beam view. A dark, sweeping sandstone wall curves around the frame like a wave or curtain, opening onto bright orange rock beyond and creating strong depth between shadow and light.
Moving through the canyon constantly changes the geometry of the walls. Small shifts in position alter the apparent shapes, which is why photographs taken only metres apart can look like completely different landscapes.
This Antelope Canyon magnet remembers the slot canyon through its flowing rock forms rather than a single sunbeam. Adding your visit year can link the unusual sandstone opening with your own walk through the passage.
