These Terms of Service govern the use of Magnets4Fridge.com and the purchase of products offered through the website.
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or place an order.
1. About Magnets4Fridge

Throughout these Terms, “Magnets4Fridge”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of Magnets4Fridge.com.
2. Our Products
Magnets4Fridge offers personalized souvenir fridge magnets featuring destinations and places from around the world, as well as custom photo magnets created from images supplied by customers.
Our magnets are produced individually after an order is placed.
Depending on the product, personalization options may include:
- custom text;
- a national flag;
- the year of a visit;
- other available design options;
- a photograph or image supplied by the customer.
Product dimensions, materials, available options and other relevant characteristics are described on the applicable product page.
Because products are individually produced, minor differences in colour, positioning, cropping or appearance may occur compared with images displayed on a computer or mobile screen. Such minor differences do not normally constitute a defect.
3. Product Images and Colours
We make reasonable efforts to display product images and colours accurately.
However, colours may appear differently depending on the customer's screen, device, brightness settings and other technical factors.
Images shown on the website are therefore illustrative representations of the final product rather than guarantees of exact screen-to-print colour reproduction.
4. Personalized Products
When you select personalization options, you are responsible for checking that the information you provide is correct before placing your order.
This includes, where applicable:
- spelling;
- names;
- dates;
- years;
- wording;
- selected flags;
- uploaded photographs;
- other personalization instructions.
We produce personalized products based on the information provided with the order.
Magnets4Fridge is not responsible for errors contained in information supplied or approved by the customer, unless the final product differs from the information actually submitted with the order.
We may make minor technical adjustments to text size, positioning, cropping or layout where reasonably necessary to produce the magnet in the required format.
5. Custom Photo Magnets
When ordering a custom photo magnet, you may upload your own photograph or image.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- you have the right to use the uploaded content;
- its use does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, personality or other rights;
- where applicable, you have obtained appropriate permission from identifiable persons shown in the image;
- the content does not violate applicable law.
By uploading content, you grant Magnets4Fridge a limited, non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, crop, resize and otherwise technically process that content only as reasonably necessary to produce and fulfil your order and provide related customer service.
Uploading a photograph does not transfer ownership of your photograph to Magnets4Fridge.
Customer photographs are not added to our public product collection or used for advertising or promotional purposes without separate permission.
6. Image Quality
The quality of a custom photo magnet depends partly on the quality of the image supplied by the customer.
Low-resolution, blurred, heavily compressed, very dark or otherwise unsuitable photographs may result in reduced print quality.
Where reasonably possible, we may make technical adjustments necessary for production, but we cannot guarantee that a poor-quality source image can be improved.
We reserve the right to contact you if an uploaded image appears unsuitable for production.
7. Content We May Refuse
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order containing content that we reasonably believe:
- infringes intellectual property or other third-party rights;
- is unlawful;
- contains illegal material;
- is fraudulent;
- constitutes abuse or harassment;
- cannot reasonably be produced;
- otherwise exposes Magnets4Fridge to legal liability.
If an order is cancelled by us for such a reason before production, any payment received for the affected product will be refunded where appropriate.
8. Placing an Order
Products can be ordered through the Magnets4Fridge online store.
Before submitting an order, you are responsible for checking:
- the selected product;
- personalization options;
- uploaded content;
- quantities;
- delivery information;
- contact information;
- the total price.
After an order has been submitted successfully, an order confirmation is sent to the email address provided during checkout.
The confirmation contains information relating to your order and does not prevent us from contacting you if additional information is required before production.
9. Order Acceptance and Cancellation by Magnets4Fridge
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before production where there is a legitimate reason, including:
- an obvious pricing or technical error;
- payment failure;
- suspected fraud;
- incomplete or unusable customer information;
- unsuitable or prohibited uploaded content;
- inability to manufacture or deliver the product;
- circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we cancel a paid order and the cancellation is not caused by a breach by the customer, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled product or order.
10. Prices
Product prices are displayed on the website in the currencies supported by the store.
Prices and promotional offers may change from time to time.
The price applicable to an order is the price displayed and confirmed during checkout when the order is placed, except in the case of an obvious pricing or technical error.
Any delivery charge applicable to the order is shown separately before the order is submitted.
Currency conversions may be performed by the website, payment provider or financial institution. The actual exchange rate used by a payment provider may therefore differ slightly from the rate displayed on the website.
11. Payment
Payments are processed through the payment methods made available during checkout, including third-party payment providers such as PayPal.
Magnets4Fridge does not store complete credit or debit card information.
Your use of a third-party payment service may also be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
An order may not enter production until the required payment has been successfully received or confirmed.
12. Production Time
Magnets are individually prepared and produced after an order is placed.
The estimated production or processing time shown on the website is an estimate and may occasionally be affected by order volume, technical issues, public holidays or other circumstances.
If a significant problem prevents us from completing your order within a reasonable period, we may contact you using the contact information provided with the order.
13. Delivery
Magnets4Fridge ships to destinations made available during checkout.
Current delivery charges, free-shipping thresholds and estimated delivery times are published on our Payment & Delivery page and/or shown during checkout.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delays caused by postal services, customs authorities, weather, transport disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may occur.
Where tracking is available, tracking information may be provided after dispatch.
14. Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
If an order cannot be delivered because the address supplied by the customer is incorrect or incomplete, additional delivery charges may apply if the order has to be sent again.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error in your delivery information.
Once an order has been dispatched, changing the delivery address may no longer be possible.
15. Customs, Import Duties and Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs procedures, import duties, taxes or other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, such charges are the responsibility of the recipient.
Magnets4Fridge has no control over charges imposed by foreign customs or tax authorities.
We declare shipment information in accordance with applicable legal requirements and will not deliberately provide false customs values or descriptions.
16. Risk During Delivery
For consumer purchases, responsibility for accidental loss or damage during delivery remains with the seller until the goods are received by the customer or another person designated by the customer, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
If a shipment appears to have been lost or damaged during delivery, please contact us so that the matter can be investigated.
17. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain distance purchases within the period provided by applicable law.
However, under EU consumer law, the normal 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.
This exception may apply, for example, to:
- custom photo magnets produced from a photograph supplied by the customer;
- magnets containing customer-supplied custom text;
- products otherwise individually produced according to specific customer instructions.
Whether the statutory exception applies depends on the actual nature and degree of personalization of the product.
Where a product is not covered by an applicable exception, the consumer retains any statutory right of withdrawal provided by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove a mandatory right that cannot legally be excluded.
18. Personalized Products and Changes of Mind
Where a product has been made to your specifications or is clearly personalized and the statutory withdrawal exception applies, we normally cannot accept a return merely because you:
- changed your mind;
- no longer want the product;
- selected the wrong personalization;
- entered incorrect text or information;
- supplied the wrong photograph.
This does not affect your rights if the product is defective, damaged, incorrectly produced or otherwise does not conform to the order or applicable legal requirements.
This distinction is important: the exception from the cooling-off right for genuinely personalized goods does not remove the consumer's rights when goods are defective or do not conform to the contract. EU consumers retain mandatory conformity protection.
19. Returns Where a Right of Withdrawal Applies
Where you have a statutory right of withdrawal and wish to exercise it, you must notify us within the applicable statutory period.
For EU consumers, this is normally 14 days from receipt of the goods where no exception applies.
After notifying us, the goods must be returned within the period required by applicable law.
Unless otherwise required by law or agreed by us, the customer bears the direct cost of returning goods when exercising an ordinary right of withdrawal.
Where required by law, we will refund eligible payments, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the original order. Additional costs resulting from a more expensive delivery method selected by the customer do not have to be refunded.
20. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrectly produced or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
- your order number;
- a description of the problem;
- photographs of the product where useful.
Depending on the circumstances and your applicable legal rights, an appropriate remedy may include:
- replacement;
- repair where appropriate;
- price reduction;
- refund.
Personalization does not remove mandatory consumer rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods.
21. Legal Guarantee and Consumer Rights
Consumers benefit from mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer protection law.
For consumers in the European Union, goods are covered by statutory conformity rights under EU and national law. These rights exist independently of any additional commercial warranty and cannot be excluded by these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
22. Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required.
Processing times may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
A refund may be withheld where permitted by applicable law until returned goods are received or sufficient evidence of return has been provided.
23. Photographer Submissions
Photographers may submit photographs for possible inclusion in the Magnets4Fridge collection.
Separate conditions concerning photograph licensing, attribution and use may apply to photographer submissions.
Submitting photographs as a photographer is different from uploading a private photograph for a CUSTOM Photo Magnet.
A photograph uploaded by a customer for production of a private custom magnet is not automatically licensed for inclusion in our public collection.
24. Website Images and Intellectual Property
Content available on Magnets4Fridge may include:
- content created or owned by Magnets4Fridge or AGD;
- properly licensed content;
- public-domain content;
- content made available under licences such as Creative Commons CC0;
- photographs submitted by contributors under applicable permissions.
The applicable rights may differ between individual images and other website content.
The design, layout, text, branding and other original elements of the Magnets4Fridge website may not be copied, reproduced or commercially exploited without permission except where permitted by law.
Third-party photographs or other content remain subject to the rights and licences applicable to them.
If you believe that content on Magnets4Fridge infringes your rights, please contact us at and provide sufficient information for us to investigate the matter.
25. Acceptable Use of the Website
You must not use Magnets4Fridge.com:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
- to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- to introduce malware or malicious code;
- to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems or data;
- to send unsolicited communications;
- to infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- in any other way that may cause material harm to the website, its operator or other users.
We may restrict access or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect the website, other users or our legal interests.
26. Customer Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
You should notify us if you believe that your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, misuse, security concerns or a serious breach of these Terms.
Closure of an account does not eliminate obligations or rights arising from orders already placed.
27. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and functioning correctly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- upgrades;
- hosting problems;
- technical failures;
- security incidents;
- circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may modify or discontinue website features where reasonably necessary.
28. External Links and Third-Party Services
The website may contain links to or integrate services provided by third parties.
We are not responsible for third-party websites, their content or their independent privacy and security practices.
Third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
29. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
In particular, these Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, Magnets4Fridge is not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was concluded.
Where products are purchased for consumer purposes, any limitation in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.
30. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where this is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil disturbance, transport disruption, postal interruption, strikes, government measures, network failures, major technical incidents or other comparable events.
Where such an event materially affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to inform you and resolve the situation.
31. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we process it, how it may be shared, how long it may be retained and what data protection rights you may have.

This does not affect your right to use any complaint, consumer protection, court or alternative dispute-resolution procedure available to you under applicable law.
33. Governing Law
These Terms and contracts concluded through Magnets4Fridge.com are governed by the laws of Slovenia, subject to applicable mandatory consumer protection rules.
If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protection rights that apply to you under the law that cannot contractually be excluded.
34. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary where possible.
The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
35. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:
- our products or services;
- website functionality;
- payment or delivery arrangements;
- business practices;
- applicable laws or regulations.
The current version will be published on this page.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the essential terms of an order already concluded unless required by law or agreed with the customer.
