Discover Antelope Canyon

Antelope Canyon near Page, Arizona, is a slot canyon carved into Navajo sandstone by flash flooding and erosion. Its narrow passageways are famous for smooth flowing rock forms and dramatic changes in colour as sunlight enters from above.

The magnet shows a confined interior where orange and red walls twist upward on both sides. A bright shaft of light falls through an opening high above, illuminating the sandy floor and making the canyon appear almost sculpted by light.

Because the canyon is narrow, every few steps reveal a different composition of curves, shadows and reflected colour. Access is managed through guided visits on Navajo Nation land, and conditions can change with season and time of day.
