Discover La Paz

La Paz occupies a dramatic high-altitude basin in the Bolivian Andes, with neighbourhoods climbing steep slopes around the city centre. The surrounding mountains and the extreme difference in elevation between districts give the city a geography unlike almost any other capital-scale urban area.
