Discover Kitgum

Kitgum in northern Uganda is part of a region with strong Acholi cultural traditions, where music and dance remain important forms of community expression and celebration.

The magnet shows a group of dancers in motion, wearing feathered headdresses and vivid red-and-white garments. Raised arms and layered costumes give the scene a sense of rhythm even in a still image.

Traditional performance is best understood as a social practice rather than simply a visual spectacle. Songs, movement and dress often carry local meaning tied to events, identity and community.

This Kitgum fridge magnet remembers northern Uganda through dance and colour. A visit year or short personal message can connect the scene with the specific performance or gathering you experienced.

Available Options

Option info

Choose how you would like the text to appear on your magnet.

This option is required. Please choose one of the following:

  • No text – the magnet will be produced without any text on the image.
  • Predefined text – the magnet will use the predefined text shown in the product images.
  • Custom text – you can enter your own wording in the Add Custom Text field below.

If you choose Custom text, please make sure to enter the wording you want before adding the product to your cart.

Option info

Add your own text to make the magnet even more personal.

Enter the wording you would like to appear on the image. You can add, for example, the name of a place, a short message, a date, a name or another short phrase that is meaningful to you.

Shorter text usually gives the best visual result and allows us to use a larger, more readable font. Very long text may need to be reduced in size to fit the available space on the magnet.

If you do not want any text to appear on your magnet, simply leave this field empty.

Please check spelling, names, dates and other details carefully before placing your order. Your magnet will be prepared using the text you provide.

Option info

Optionally add a national flag to your magnet.

The flag represents the country connected with the destination shown on the magnet and will be displayed as a small circular graphic in the corner of the image.

Tick the “Yes” checkbox only if you want the national flag to appear on your magnet.

If you do not want a flag, simply leave the checkbox unticked.

The exact position and size of the flag may be adjusted slightly during preparation to achieve the best visual balance with the image, text and other selected options.

Option info

Optionally add the year of your visit or another memorable year to your magnet.

This option is ideal for remembering a journey, holiday, special event or another important moment connected with your trip.

Choose a year from the drop-down menu only if you want a year to appear on your magnet. If you do not want a year, simply leave this option unchanged.

The position and size of the year may be adjusted slightly during preparation so that it fits naturally with the image, text and other personalization options.
