The Exumas are famous for exceptionally clear shallows, uninhabited cays and a series of unusual wildlife encounters. Among the best known are the swimming pigs found on Big Major Cay, which have become one of the most recognisable images of the Bahamas.

The magnet shows one of the pigs wading through very shallow turquoise water close to the beach. Its wet bristled coat and the transparent sea beneath it make the animal look entirely at home in a setting normally associated with tropical fish and snorkellers.
