Discover Yucatán
The Yucatán Peninsula contains some of Mexico’s most important Maya archaeological sites, as well as cenotes, colonial towns and a distinctive low limestone landscape. Chichén Itzá is the best-known symbol of that cultural heritage.
The magnet shows the Temple of Kukulcán, or El Castillo, from a low frontal angle. Broad stone stairways climb the stepped pyramid beneath towering clouds, while the open green plaza emphasises the monument’s symmetry.
A journey through Yucatán can connect large sites such as Chichén Itzá with smaller ruins, underground cenotes and cities including Mérida and Valladolid. Together they reveal a region shaped by both Maya heritage and later colonial history.
This Yucatán fridge magnet uses one of the peninsula’s most recognisable monuments as its focal point. A personal date or message can link the pyramid to the wider route you travelled through south-eastern Mexico.
