Bogotá, Colombia’s capital, spreads across a high plateau in the Andes at more than 2,600 metres above sea level. The city combines a vast modern urban area with historic neighbourhoods, museums, markets and mountain viewpoints along its eastern edge.

The magnet uses a high panoramic view to show the scale of Bogotá. Dense blocks of buildings stretch far into the distance, while tall towers punctuate the centre and the city appears almost continuous across the plateau beneath the surrounding highland landscape.
