Discover Teotihuacán
Teotihuacán was one of the largest cities of the ancient Americas, flourishing in central Mexico centuries before the rise of the Aztec Empire. Its enormous ceremonial avenue, pyramids and residential compounds reveal a city planned on a monumental scale.
The magnet looks down across the archaeological zone from above. Long stone platforms line the Avenue of the Dead while pyramidal structures rise at intervals, making the underlying geometry of the ancient city much clearer than it appears from ground level.
Walking the avenue reveals how far the site extends beyond its two famous pyramids. Murals, smaller temples and palace complexes provide details about a society whose influence spread across much of Mesoamerica.
This Teotihuacán fridge magnet captures the ancient city as a complete urban landscape. A visit year can connect the aerial pattern of plazas and pyramids with the day you explored the site outside Mexico City.
